Knee Pain

Knee osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis is basically progressive wear and tear of cartilage within the joint usually age related but also people with a history of knee injury are more prone. One of the main signs of osteoarthritis is loss in range of motion along with stiffness and pain associated with activities.

Patellofemoral pain

Patellofemoral pain syndrome occurs as the patella does not track in its groove as the knee is bent or straightened. This is caused by factors which put extra strain on the knee joint itself and on the surrounding muscles and ligaments resulting in knee pain and inflammation.

Here at Burton Latimer chiropractic our aim is to prolong the life of the knee and to avoid surgery. We will help maintain range of motion and reduce pain.
